shall be yellow,
the sun, the mango, the ribbon
in your hair,
the lace around your skirt
the golden ring
tomorrow let our country
be yellow
for it will be a time for
change,
a reign of truth, and justice
and peace
tomorrow early morning
my smile shall be yellow
my teeth so yellow
your umbrella, your blouse
my shirt, my shoes
my eyes shall all be yellow
all my hopes
my dreams in the shades
of his yellow.
These are poetic experiments. Man's quest for the poetic element never ceases. He is always caught in the eye of awe. He does not make the rules now.
